At the Salon Tanning is completely private making tan lines optional. The bronzer used for the initial color is water-soluble and should wash out of any clothing, but the DHA application may cause permanent stains on clothing worn inside the booth Wearing a lip balm or similar product is recommended Towel, shower cap and complete instruction provided |
After Your Session It is recommended that you wait at least six hours after your tanning session to shower or apply moisturizers. The DHA needs time to react with your skin and showering earlier may diminish the intensity of the tan. The initial tan created by the water-soluble bronzer will wash off in your first shower, while the long-term tan created by the DHA will remain. Your tan should last for at least 5 days, but remember your skin is literally dying to fall off! Long baths and showers, swimming, lying on a sandy beach will all encourage your skin to exfoliate naturally, losing your tan in the process. Regular moisturizing will extend the life of your tan. |
